Scanning negatives with a camera
Flatbed scans never looked sharp enough, so I started digitising negatives with a digital camera.
A macro lens, a light panel and a simple holder give surprisingly good results. Keeping the film flat is the hardest part.
Dust is the eternal enemy. A blower and clean gloves save hours of retouching later.
